The long awaited Published is now open at the corner of Main Street and 20th Ave in Vancouver’s happening Mount Pleasant neighbourhood. With seriously delicious looking photos making it’s way across social media in the weeks leading up to opening, the doors at Published were finally open to everyone’s delight just before the holidays of 2019.

The talented team at Published set out to create an unforgettable experience with their new restaurant. Everyone on the team is a seasoned vet – masters at their trade with a creativity and passion that shines through to their creations. The goal was to create a space where they could tell a story through their food, the room, and the beverages. For example, their menus are created using ingredients based on seasonality, foraging, and a connection with local growers/producers. These all work together to create an unforgettable dining experience for their guests.

This story-telling was where the concept for Published came to life. It transcended to the room design and construction by the creation of a space where someone can easily settle in with a good book and spend some time. The room has two distinct spaces. The lounge is inspired by a solarium, set under a canopy of greenery and surrounded by windows. As you move through the restaurant to the dining room you’ll notice it has more of a den-like feel. It’s darker palette makes for a moodier setting with cozy chairs and banquette seating. The gleaming kitchen is housed downstairs, but a sleek garde-manger that is complete with bar seating can entertain guests alongside the full-swinging bar.
