Functional, fun, and fast. These are just some of the core characteristics behind an F45 workout. Originally founded in Australia, the concept is quickly expanding across the globe, including right here in British Columbia. F45 North Langley is one of the newest locations to offer the unique 45 minute fitness model and team Pacific was happy to bring it to life.
F45 operates on a franchise business model and each location is independently owned. Corporate provided general guidance to us and the local owners on the layout, equipment, branding, and colours. Then we as the contractor, alongside a local architect (W/A Office) and our trusted trades, got to work on planning and fitting out the specific location.
As with all 2020 projects, the pandemic certainly threw us some challenges. However we were still able to hand over the keys to the F45 North Langley owners on time for their mid December opening, in addition to keeping the beautiful new space within budget and meeting the needs of all corporate requirements.
Typically, F45 provides a complete, full-body circuit style workout in 45 minutes. The F45 North Langley owners have had to adjust the workouts to meet current COVID safety requirements in British Columbia but that hasn’t slowed down the community’s response to the new gym. Everyone gets their own workout space that is complete with their own equipment. Class sizes are reduced and you still have access to both the on-screen demos and two trainers to support you. The workout can still be customized to any fitness level and is safe, effective, and efficient.
