With seven stores across greater Vancouver and Victoria, Turnabout Luxe is British Columbia’s premier destination for luxury designer shopping. Joy Lapka Mauro opened the doors for her first store in 1978 and has been helping shape the closets of fashion lovers’ ever since.
Pacific Solutions Contracting has had the privilege of working with Joy and her team throughout the years. We have helped Turnabout locations evolve and have also been a part of bringing exciting new stores to different neighbourhoods. We were thrilled to be a part of the Turnabout Luxe vision – an upscale boutique shopping experience for luxury and designer goods.
The Turnabout Luxe retail space was transformed to be open and bright. We added beautiful mouldings throughout the walls and ceilings, chandeliers throughout, and borrowed inspiration from top designer boutiques for chic change rooms. Luxe finishes contrast beautifully with the raw concrete staircase taking shoppers down to the lower level for more designer finds. Glossy marble plinths were made in the Pacific millwork shop and provide a runway for the mannequins showing off the latest styles.
The Turnabout team has a passion for what they do and each location has carefully curated pieces to suit their neighbourhood and community. The Turnabout following continues to grow alongside the beautifully designed stores, enjoyable shopping experiences, and emphasis on sustainable shopping.
